Leading White Collar Lawyer Michael Leonard appears on the popular true crime podcast “One Minute Remaining” on Apple podcasts

Leading White Collar Lawyer Michael Leonard appears on the popular true crime podcast “One Minute Remaining” on Apple podcasts. Jack Laurence’s podcast, “One Minute Remaining,” delves into cases involving defendants/detainees who have already been convicted. Jack takes a look at these cases from a unique perspective – that of the defendant/detainee.

In this episode of his podcast, Jack re-examines the case of Dandre Lane. Mr. Lane was convicted of murder, which arose out of the disappearance of his young daughter, who Mr. Lane contended – as still contends – was taken during a carjacking.

Michael Leonard, who regularly appears after Jack wraps up a particular story to provide a trial lawyer’s perspective, discusses with Jack the strengths and weaknesses of the State’s case against Mr. Lane. Key issues include the State’s use of an expert witness; the use of a cadaver dog – which can purportedly alert to the presence of a dead body; certain of the witness testimony; and the State’s arguments.

Have a listen at either Apple podcasts or Acast podcasts.
